Happy Mother's Day

I have to say I'm the luckiest mom in the world! I'm sure a lot of moms feel this way, but I know for sure I'm very, very blessed. Only a short while ago I had no idea if I would ever be a mom, we'll at least give birth to my own baby. What a difference a year makes! Here I am holding my first miracle boy with another one in the belly on it's way! For all the days I feel like I don't know what I'm doing, one smile and nothing else matters...

I must also not forget the amazing husband that I have, best "DaDa" around! Despite working so much, still managed to get me the beautiful locket below with my miracle boy #1's name and birthday engraved on the back, and picture inside...with 3 other places to hold all my other special men (DaDa, Bear, and Miracle Boy #2 (name tbd)). I'm a very lucky girl!!!

Spider Monkey

I can't believe my little guy is 8 months old today! He now crawls around the house and gets into everything! He only has two bottom teeth, but is still teething & drooling like crazy so some more should be here soon. His favorite food so far is yogurt. He's now starting to sleep-in until 6-6:30am...I never thought I would be so excited about this call-time, but I'll take it any day over the previous 5-5:30am:) Very excited because he is 20 pounds now and I am waiting for the delivery of his new forward-facing car seat, I pray this makes car travel easier.

I'm now past the halfway mark with my pregnancy and starting to get big! Oh, how I wonder each day...How on earth am I going to find the energy to chase two little guys around!?!

We are now official members of the LA Zoo, which lucky for us happens to be located very close to our home. Today we went to the zoo with our neighbor Libby and her two sons Aiden and Eli. Chris had a lot of fun and especially liked the snow leopard. For becoming a new family member we got a new little friend, Mr. Gorilla below...

Goodbye Dear Bonnie

For the past 5 years Clint and I have been very blessed to know our amazing neighbors Bonnie & Phil. Sadly Bonnie past away last weekend, but we are glad her painful battle with cancer is over. Today we went to her service that was packed with many people like us whose lives were touched deeply by knowing Bonnie. She truly was one of the most remarkable women I have ever met. Even in the darkest times of her illness and treatment, she never lost her sense of humor or gave-in to despair. We will miss her greatly, but are so thankful for the fact that we had her in our lives.

Hurray for Huggies!

This is one of those pics that I know Christopher will kill me for posting later, but I couldn't resist:) Our baby boy now has two bottom teeth finally!!! He now weights 19 pounds, 5 ounces. Last night was the first time in 5 weeks that my little guy finally slept through the night again...It was pure heaven:) His most recent trouble has been waking up very upset from soggy diapers. I had been using these nighttime pampers that are supposed to give great leak support up to 12 hours...Well let me tell you, they didn't last 4 hours! So last night I put Chris in his regular Huggies Diapers and there were no complaints or leaks to speak of. I hope sweet dreams are here for awhile.
