The Chase is on...

It took Christopher only one day to master his new walker, a new gift from Grandpa Bill. Now Mamma just needs to move the obstacles that are in his path to Brother Bear:)

Helmet Boy

As you can tell from the pics below, Christopher was really traumatized by his new helmet, or I should say "DOC Band", as they call it over at Cranial Technologies...So futuristic:) Luckily, our little guy slept through the night and so far seems unaffected by the band. I pray this process goes quickly, I already miss kissing his entire head!

1st Sippy

Yesterday Christopher experienced his first training/drinking cup. I don't think he drank an ounce of the water inside, but he sure enjoyed gumming the spout as the Born free packaging said he would!

Crawler

He may mostly move backwards, but Chris officially crawled for the first time two nights ago! The motivation you ask? Brother Bear of course! Chris LOVES his doggy! He was laughing hard at Bear playing with his toys and was trying with all his might to move his way, instead he went in reverse. This continued on our bed as I was putting him in his PJ's preparing for bed, Bear of course on the bed as well. Chris flipped over and used the bedspread to help him propel forward towards Bear. He crawled half way to his little doggy. Look out Bear!

6 Months

17 pounds 6 ounces, 26 1/2 inches...He's now starting to eat solids. So far, we like rice cereal and sweet potatoes, not so hot for yellow squash. He is still teething! His bottom two teeth are about to break through any day now. He can roll over front to back and back to front and pull himself around in a circle on his stomach. I would say he's ready to crawl pretty soon. He talks and talks and blows lots of bubbles from top to bottom:) I love everything about him, but I especially love his cute smile that lights up his entire face. Who could ever say "no" to face like this...
